South Korean Won Deepens Loss Against U.S. Dollar, Underperforms Regional Peers

The South Korean won extended its decline against the U.S. dollar, becoming the worst performer among emerging Asian currencies as renewed tensions in the Middle East dampened market risk appetite.

The USD/KRW pair rose as much as 0.9% to 1517.30.
