AI Sector Stages Strong Comeback with ChiNext AI ETF Surging 3.82%

Artificial intelligence concepts resumed market leadership today, with East Data West Computing, computing power, optical modules, and AI chips among the top gainers during the session. As of writing, the ChiNext Artificial Intelligence ETF (159246) recorded an intraday increase of 3.82%, while the Communication ETF (159583) rose 3.37%. Among the constituents of the ChiNext AI ETF, Guanghuan New Network surged over 16%, and Tongniu Information gained more than 10%.

On the news front, the National Data Administration recently stated that this year it will promote high-quality development of the digital economy by fostering digital industry clusters in tiers, cultivating and expanding innovative digital economy enterprises, and advancing comprehensive digital transformation in cities.

Additionally, the Chinese term for "Token" has been officially designated as "词元" (Cíyuán). The National Data Administration indicated that Token ("词元") is recognized as a value anchor in the intelligent era and a "settlement unit" connecting technological supply with commercial demand, providing a quantifiable foundation for business model implementation. Data shows that by the end of 2025, China had established over 100,000 high-quality datasets. As of March this year, the average daily Token ("词元") call volume in China exceeded 140 trillion, marking an increase of more than 40% compared to the end of 2025 and a surge of over 1,000 times from the 100 billion recorded at the beginning of 2024.

The ChiNext Artificial Intelligence ETF (159246) tracks the ChiNext Artificial Intelligence Index and is subject to a 20% daily price fluctuation limit. The index selects 50 companies from ChiNext-listed firms, covering businesses in storage and computing equipment, network devices, data and software services, and scenario applications related to artificial intelligence. It achieves full AI industry chain coverage from "hardware + software + application," with a particular focus on leading communication equipment and optical module companies.
