Fuel Price Update in Shaanxi: Gasoline and Diesel Rates Increased

Today (May 21), the Shaanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission announced an upward adjustment in the prices of gasoline and diesel. According to the National Development and Reform Commission's official website, domestic refined oil product prices will be adjusted starting from 24:00 on May 21, 2026. The prices of gasoline and diesel (standard products) have been raised by 75 yuan and 70 yuan per ton, respectively.

Under the current refined oil pricing mechanism, gasoline and diesel prices in Shaanxi Province will correspondingly increase starting tomorrow. The maximum retail prices for 92-octane gasoline and 0# diesel will both rise by 0.06 yuan per liter.

After the adjustment, the maximum retail prices for gasoline and diesel in various price zones are as follows: - 92-octane gasoline: 11,533 yuan per ton (8.65 yuan per liter) in the Xi'an market, with the central and northern price zones adopting the Xi'an market price, and 11,639 yuan per ton (8.73 yuan per liter) in the southern Shaanxi price zone. - 0# diesel: 9,825 yuan per ton (8.35 yuan per liter) in the Xi'an urban area, and 10,025 yuan per ton (8.52 yuan per liter) in other markets within the province.

Refined oil retail enterprises are allowed to independently set specific retail prices, provided they do not exceed the maximum retail prices for gasoline and diesel.
