Throughout the expedition, BYD focused on addressing Silk Road travel needs by establishing dedicated fast-charging stations in the four key ancient cities: Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand, and Tashkent. With its comprehensive charging network and efficient, stable fast-charging technology, the company aims to solve cross-border long-distance travel charging challenges, injecting green energy into transnational transit across Central Asia. Notably, on the evening of July 9th local time, the "Silk Road Night" themed event was grandly launched at the showroom of BYD's authorized dealer, BYD Beni Motors, in Samarkand. The Marco Polo delegation was present, with representatives from BYD China and key personnel from the local dealer hosting and engaging in in-depth discussions. Building upon Samarkand's historical legacy as a pivotal Silk Road hub for millennia, the parties reflected on the cooperative origins of mutual benefit and cross-border connectivity from the ancient trade routes. They explored new opportunities for China-Uzbekistan industrial collaboration and brand development in the new energy era, highlighting the responsibility and commitment of Chinese automakers in empowering the Central Asian market through their global expansion.
