Shares have risen just under 15% over the past year.Analyst David Risinger assumed coverage of the stock with an overweight rating, saying in a note to clients on Friday that strength in multiple business units should help shares rise.“We are Overweight JNJ shares based upon strong growth prospects, diversification across three distinct business segments – Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices & Diagnostics, and Consumer – and an attractive valuation relative to the S&P,” the note said.The stock is trading at 16-times 2022 estimated earnings compared to 20-times for the S&P 500, according to Morgan Stanley.One area that should show particularly strong results in the near term is medical devices & diagnostics, which was hampered last year by restrictions on non-Covid care in hospitals across the country.“Underlying improvement should become more visible as COVID headwinds abate. We model 17.7% YoY growth in 2021 vs 2020, driven by procedure recovery and new product ramps,” the note said about the business line.Morgan Stanley set a price target of $187 per share for Johnson & Johnson, which is nearly 11% above where the stock closed on
