[Click to register] Sina Tech news, evening of October 15 — Sina Tech has learned exclusively that recently, Jike electric vehicles under Chunfeng Power have faced situations where they cannot be sold normally or registered for license plates due to a large-scale suspension of mandatory product certification for the new national standard (hereinafter referred to as CCC).

On the online channel of JD.com (NASDAQ: JD), all Jike new national standard electric bicycles have recently been taken offline and are no longer on sale. According to several heads of Jike offline stores speaking to the "BUG" column, "Because Jike electric bicycle CCC certificates have 'expired,' for nearly a month all electric bicycles have been unable to be registered for license plates normally, and the online channel was also taken offline four days ago (October 10)."

Sina Tech learned through the State Administration for Market Regulation that on October 9 — the day before Jike's online channel electric bicycles were taken offline on a large scale — more than 20 Jike electric vehicle CCC certificates were suspended or revoked, with most of the suspended certificates having been issued only about one month earlier, and the suspension period set at 3 months.

For the vast majority of vehicle owners, a 3-month suspension of CCC certificates means that the Jike electric bicycles they just purchased may be unable to be registered for license plates normally, and they will face enormous travel challenges.
