Shares of Yue Yuen Industrial (Holdings) Ltd (00551) dropped more than 3% during Tuesday's trading session, slipping 3.35% to HK$12.39 with turnover reaching HK$42.74 million at the time of reporting.

According to a recent company announcement, the group's consolidated net operating revenue—defined as total sales less discounts and returns—for August 2026 stood at $637 million. For the eight months ended August 31, 2026, the cumulative net operating revenue reached $5.217 billion.

Analysts at CLSA noted that the August operating results showed year-over-year declines of 2.1% for the group, 1.6% for manufacturing operations, and 9% for retail operations, marking a notable improvement compared to July's figures. The manufacturing segment's sales contraction narrowed considerably from the previous month, supported by a favorable base effect, although the two-year compound annual growth rate for this segment still exhibits some volatility.
