On the afternoon of September 8th, the Municipal Party Secretary Qin Weiguo held a working meeting with the delegation led by Liu Jingyu, the Chairman of CALB, culminating in the signing ceremony for the CALB Hefei Research Institute project. Mayor Zhang Quan, along with city officials Liu Wenfeng and Yong Yefeng, were present at the event.
During the meeting, Secretary Qin expressed that CALB's continued investments and the sequential rollout of new incremental projects are propelling the robust growth of the city's new energy sector. He encouraged the company to maintain its deep-rooted focus, expedite the development of its current projects, and persistently explore new frontiers and applications. This approach, he noted, would attract more upstream and downstream enterprises to cluster in Hefei. The city, he affirmed, remains committed to cultivating a world-class business environment that is market-oriented, law-based, and international, while consistently enhancing the quality and efficiency of its corporate services.
In response, Ms. Liu Jingyu lauded Hefei's distinct geographical strengths, superior industrial ecosystem, favorable business climate, and the formidable momentum of its high-quality development. She emphasized the strong synergy between the company and the city, stating that CALB will designate Hefei as one of its key strategic bases. The company plans to intensify its project planning and deployment efforts to more effectively bolster the growth of Hefei's new energy industry.
