Shanghai Electric Anticipates First-Half Net Profit Growth of 12% to 22%

Stock News07-20

The company has issued its preliminary financial results for the first half of 2026, projecting a net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company in the range of 9.2 billion to 10 billion yuan.

This represents a year-on-year increase of approximately 12% to 22%.

The growth in profit for the period is primarily attributed to operational improvements in certain core business segments.

Additionally, non-recurring gains from government subsidies recognized during the period and the disposal of equity in some subsidiaries have provided positive support to the overall profitability, driving the increase in net profit attributable to shareholders compared to the same period last year.
