This action is taken to implement the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Central Financial Work Conference, aiming to standardize market order, strengthen source control over illegal financial activities, prevent and resolve financial risks, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of financial consumers. The list includes institutions whose business names or scope of operations contain financial-related terms but lack the necessary operational qualifications.
The public is reminded to remain vigilant, enhance their discernment, and verify the operational qualifications of entities involved in financial businesses. It is advised to select formal, licensed institutions for financial services such as payment, credit reporting, and credit rating to effectively safeguard personal interests.
For the relevant institutions listed, it was noted that names or business scopes containing financial-related terms can easily mislead financial consumers. These entities are urged to promptly proceed to the registration authority to change their names and business scope by removing terms such as "payment," "credit reporting," and "credit rating," or to apply for deregistration.
