Seres Group director and vice president Kang Bo said in an interview with a business channel at the 2026 Paris Motor Show that AITO plans to officially enter the European market in the autumn of 2027 and gradually expand into the global market.
Currently, AITO is actively advancing regulatory compliance certification and localized operations, while European versions of its models are being developed simultaneously. It is reported that the WVTA (Whole Vehicle Type Approval) certification work for AITO vehicles in the EU has been fully launched.
At this Paris Motor Show, AITO appeared under the theme of "Reshaping Luxury with Intelligence," showcasing four models - the AITO M9, M8, M7, and M6 - along with the Magic Cube technology platform.
The AITO M9 has maintained sales leadership in the above-500,000-yuan market for 21 consecutive months, the AITO M8 has ranked first in sales in the 400,000-yuan class for six consecutive months, and cumulative deliveries of the AITO M7 have exceeded 400,000 units.
On January 15, 2026, AITO's one-millionth complete vehicle rolled off the production line, achieving the milestone in less than three years since the brand's establishment.
AITO's move into Europe is not an isolated case. Since 2026, Chinese new energy brands have noticeably accelerated their pace of going overseas to Europe. The market share of Chinese brands in Europe approached 11% in the second quarter, with brands such as BYD, Geely, Leapmotor, and Chery showing significant growth.
