Ping An Bank Receives Regulatory Approval for Yang Yunjie's Independent Director Appointment

On March 25, financial news reported that Ping An Bank announced it has received approval from the National Financial Regulatory Administration for the appointment of Yang Yunjie as an independent director of the bank. The approval document, referenced as Jin Fu [2026] No. 154, confirms that Mr. Yang Yunjie is qualified to serve as an independent director of Ping An Bank Co., Ltd.

According to his resume, Yang Yunjie, born in 1966, holds a Ph.D. in Economics and is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Economics of the Central University of Finance and Economics. His career includes teaching at Hebei Forestry College from July 1986 to September 1989 and from July 1992 to May 1994. From May 1994 to May 1998, he served as R&D department manager at the Beijing branch of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone Securities Company. Since July 2000, he has been teaching at the Central University of Finance and Economics, where he has held various positions, including Deputy Director and Executive Deputy Director of the Graduate School, Dean of the School of Economics, Executive Vice Dean of the Graduate School, Director of the Academic Affairs Office, and member of the Academic Committee. He also served as Secretary-General of the Secretariat of the Economics Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education. Currently, he is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Economics of the Central University of Finance and Economics, Deputy Director of the Economics Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, and Deputy Director of the Teaching Committee of the Central University of Finance and Economics.
