Cargo and Container Throughput Both Rise 14% Year-on-Year in First Eight Months
On September 5th, Nanjing Port's Longtan Container Terminal presented a bustling scene of activity. During the January-August period, Nanjing Port Group achieved cargo throughput of 65.7 million tons and container throughput of 2.67 million TEU, representing growth of 14% compared to the same period last year. These results have contributed significantly to the development of Nanjing's export-oriented economy.
