Stock News08-28 09:58

Shares of VOBILE GROUP (03738) jumped more than 10% following the release of its interim results, trading up 9.7% at HK$2.94 as of the time of writing, with turnover reaching HK$98.34 million.

According to the company's half-year report, revenue for the period climbed 23.97% year-on-year to HK$1.805 billion. Gross profit rose 26% to HK$810 million, with the gross margin improving to 44.9%. Net profit for the period surged 92.7% to HK$195 million, translating into a net margin of 10.8%.

During the reporting period, the company's strategic push into AI content services transitioned from planning to execution. Revenue from computing power services on the DreamMaker platform grew from zero to a ten-million-dollar scale. The value of AI-related active assets under management increased substantially, and the company completed its first issuance of a film and television copyright cash-flow RWA project under Hong Kong's compliance framework.

Notably, AI-related revenue generated by the DreamMaker and MAX platforms was recorded for the first time during the period. This primarily comprises platform computing power service fees collected when creators invoke multimodal models, as well as monetization income derived from the confirmation and management of such assets through the company's systems. This milestone indicates that VOBILE GROUP's AI creation platform has entered the early commercialization phase, moving beyond product development and user validation. The company remains committed to enhancing its creator ecosystem, model supply, and commercialization capabilities going forward.
