Shuanghui Development recently held its Q3 2025 earnings conference, drawing attention to its president, Ma Xiangjie. Born in 1972, Ma graduated from Henan Agricultural University in 1996 with a degree in Agricultural Product Storage and Processing. He later completed an executive MBA program at Renmin University in 2005 and earned a master's in engineering from Northwest A&F University in 2010 while working full-time.

Ma joined Shuanghui Development in 2001 as the director of the seasoning subsidiary factory. Over the years, he held various leadership roles, including general manager of several Shuanghui-affiliated companies. By 2012, he was promoted to vice president and head of the fresh products division, later becoming president in December 2017. With over two decades at the company, Ma has extensive industry experience.

In 2024, Ma's salary reached 5.706 million yuan, up by 158,000 yuan from 2023, making him the highest-paid executive at Shuanghui. However, this remains below his 2021 earnings of 9.593 million yuan, when he was the only executive to surpass 9 million yuan in compensation.

Shuanghui Development reported Q3 2025 revenue of 44.523 billion yuan, a 1.19% year-on-year increase, with net profit rising 4.05% to 3.959 billion yuan. Q3 revenue dipped slightly by 1.81% to 16.109 billion yuan, but net profit grew 8.45% to 1.636 billion yuan.

Under Ma's leadership, market observers are keen to see if Shuanghui can sustain its growth momentum this year.
