INKEVERSE (03700) climbed more than 7% during trading, rising 7.14% to HK$1.5 per share with a turnover of HK$9.1568 million as of press time.
The company issued a profit alert, announcing that it anticipates achieving net profit of no less than RMB 260 million for the six-month period ending June 30, 2025, representing an increase of over 90.0% compared to the same period last year. The primary driver behind this substantial profit growth stems from fair value changes in financial instruments measured at fair value through profit or loss during the reporting period.
Additionally, INKEVERSE disclosed that Beijing Mileywood, which is indirectly controlled through certain variable interest entity structures, has entered into a Series A preferred share purchase agreement with Skywork AI. Under this arrangement, Beijing Mileywood will acquire approximately 9.95 million Series A preferred shares in Skywork AI for a total consideration of RMB 100 million, representing approximately 0.67% of Skywork AI's expanded share capital.
Skywork AI operates as a subsidiary of Kunlun Group Limited and focuses primarily on investments in artificial general intelligence and AI-generated content businesses. The company has launched multiple AI-native products for global consumers, including AI-powered search engines, short-form video content, gaming platforms, music applications, and social networking services.
The board of directors believes this transaction holds strategic importance for the group's implementation plans. By leveraging Skywork AI's extensive expertise in globalization and AI product commercialization, the partnership will enhance collaboration in the field of AI large model technology.
