Municipal Leadership Visits Zixi Town to Inspect Yi Medicine Health Park and Residential Tourism Initiatives

On the afternoon of July 17th, Deputy Governor of Chuxiong Prefecture and Secretary of the Chuxiong Municipal Party Committee Liu Wenyue, along with Municipal Party Committee Deputy Secretary and Mayor Wu Xuejian, conducted a research visit to Song Village in Zixi Town to examine the development of the China Yi Medicine Health Park and residential tourism industry.

Liu Wenyue emphasized that in its efforts to enrich the people and strengthen the village, Song Village has successfully seized the opportunity for deep integration between residential tourism and health preservation. By leveraging its ecological advantages, revitalizing idle assets, and utilizing Yi medicine resources, the village has pioneered a new path that deeply integrates "forest wellness, Yi medical recuperation, and rural relaxation." This approach has established a popular "Chuxiong Residential Tourism Brand" that attracts both local and distant visitors.

The municipal leadership called for a thorough understanding and implementation of the directives from Provincial Party Secretary Wang Ning's speech at the provincial service industry conference. Efforts should continue to uphold and innovate the "Song Village model," capitalizing on current momentum to advance the construction of the Zixi Health and Tourism Town. Focusing on the "three excellences" requirements—excellent environment, service, and outcomes—the goal is to enhance the integrated medical and wellness brand of the China Yi Medicine Health Park, optimize the rural residential tourism industry represented by Song Village, and promote a healthier, more livable, and happier interpretation of "the lifestyle found in Yunnan" within Chuxiong.

Zhou Haizhang and Zhang Zhengming also participated in the inspection tour.
