Accenture Deploys AI Platform to Enhance Security Efficiency and Reduce Costs

Deep News03-26

Accenture is seeking to redefine cybersecurity operations with the launch of Cyber.AI, a new artificial intelligence-driven platform that operates significantly faster than traditional systems.

The platform's core is powered by Anthropic's Claude model, which functions as its brain by aggregating security data, performing analysis, and assisting with real-time responses. The objective is to shift away from the conventional "start-stop" model of periodic system checks toward a new paradigm of continuous background operation, constant scanning, and immediate response.

Accenture has already implemented the platform internally with notable results. It currently provides security for approximately 1,600 applications and over 500,000 APIs. A key advantage is its speed—tasks that previously required three to five days can now be completed within one hour. Concurrently, security coverage has increased from around 10% to over 80%, service delivery efficiency has improved by 35%, and long-term costs have been effectively contained.
