CGN New Energy Holdings Co Ltd's stock surged 5.18% during intraday trading on Wednesday, following the release of its full-year 2025 financial results.
The company reported a profit attributable to equity shareholders of US$276 million for the fiscal year, representing an 11.2% increase compared to the previous year. This growth occurred despite a 13.2% decline in revenue to US$1.7 billion, with the bottom line benefiting from a US$24 million gain on the disposal of a subsidiary and the absence of impairment losses booked in 2024.
Investors also welcomed the company's proposal of a final dividend of 1.61 US cents per share and noted the 4.3% growth in attributable installed capacity, driven by the addition of 411.8 MW of new solar power capacity.
