Kanzhun's Chen Xu: AI is the Tool, Talent is the Goal

Deep News01-23

According to recent data released by Kanzhun Limited (BOSS Zhipin) at its annual partner conference "Grow Together · ECHO2026," corporate demand for AI-related talent is showing a rapidly increasing trend, with the growth rate accelerating year by year.

Specifically, the year-on-year growth rate of the monthly average number of newly posted AI-related positions on the platform shows a distinct upward curve. The growth rate was 8.5% in 2023, surged to 36.5% in 2024, and reached 74.1% in 2025. In 2025, the platform observed that companies posting AI-related demands were not only major AI and internet technology firms but also spanned a wide range of实体经济 and professional service sectors. Chen Xu, President and Executive Director of Kanzhun, used the phrase "taking off the lab coat and putting on the work uniform" to describe AI's penetration and popularization across various industries. He believes that as AI becomes a universal tool, growing alongside everyone like Excel, the logic of market competition is also changing. "The future workplace will be a competition of 'Human + AI'," Chen Xu emphasized. While technology is becoming widespread, the core logic remains unchanged: "Ultimately, AI is the tool, and talent is the goal." Chen Xu shared that in 2025, the platform witnessed a staggering growth in AI demand for non-technical roles: AI-related positions in sales administration/business categories grew by 682%, while those in professional services like law, consulting, and human resources also experienced explosive growth exceeding 200% in 2025. Particularly noteworthy is the 139% growth in AI-related senior management positions. This signifies that a growing number of companies and their managers are elevating AI to a strategic level. AI is also being implemented in hard tech and the实体经济 sectors. New positions in electronics/semiconductors increased by 162% year-on-year, while demand in consumer retail, logistics, and manufacturing all doubled. In Chen Xu's view, "opportunities are inclusive, but the dividends are layered." The market's willingness to pay for high-level technical talent and复合型人才 remains very strong. For job seekers, enhancing their复合能力 and irreplaceability is key to seizing the dividends of the era. Chen Xu stated that making AI a "co-pilot" and "guardian" for users will be a long-term investment direction for the platform.
