SY-12321 is a Category 1 innovative chemical drug entirely independently developed by the company, classified as a fourth-generation small molecule ALK inhibitor.
It is a significant candidate product for the company's strategy to build a comprehensive treatment portfolio across the lifecycle of ALK-positive tumors, aiming to specifically address resistance issues that arise after treatment with third-generation ALK inhibitors, particularly resistance mediated by ALK compound mutations.
Preclinical studies have shown that SY-12321 exhibits potent inhibitory activity against both ALK wild-type and a broad range of key resistance mutations that develop after treatment with first, second, and third-generation ALK inhibitors.
