ZCZL Releases 2025 ESG Report: Revenue Hits RMB 41.38 Billion, Net Profit RMB 4.29 Billion, Emissions Inventory Completed

ZCZL Industrial Technology Group Company Limited (“ZCZL”) has published its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance Report, detailing financial results, governance upgrades and climate-related metrics.

Financial Highlights • Revenue reached RMB 41.38 billion, up 11.69 % year-on-year. • Net profit attributable to shareholders rose 9.14 % to RMB 4.29 billion. • R&D expenditure totalled RMB 1.63 billion, equivalent to 3.93 % of revenue; R&D head-count stood at 2,311, or 14.02 % of total staff.

ESG Governance • The Board holds ultimate ESG oversight, supported by a Strategy & Sustainability Committee and an ESG Management Committee. • A three-tier “decision-making–management–execution” model now links ESG targets to departmental performance incentives.

Climate and Environment • First full GHG inventory completed: Scope 1 emissions 51,912 tCO₂e, Scope 2 emissions 476,209 tCO₂e; Scope 3 (selected categories) 4.09 million tCO₂e. • Total energy use was 946,994 MWh; green power consumption reached 33,711 MWh. • The Coal Mining Machinery Sector’s smart park was certified by the World Economic Forum as the industry’s first Lighthouse Factory and by Henan Province as a Zero-Carbon Factory. • ASIMCO Anhui secured SBTi approval for near-term and net-zero targets; SEG targets 60 % Scope 1 reduction and 100 % Scope 2 reduction by 2030 (base year 2022).

Innovation and Product Quality • Eight smart-mining technologies and 55 coal-mine robots were launched; constant-water hydraulic supports entered commercial use. • All subsidiaries hold ISO 9001; automotive units also maintain IATF 16949, ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 certifications. • Product recalls linked to safety represented 0.0048 % of subsidiary output; no major liability cases were recorded.

Human Capital • Workforce totals 17,734 (16,480 permanent; 1,254 temporary). • Women represent 24.96 % of employees; board diversity stands at 12.5 % female and 37.5 % independent directors. • 88.6 % of staff received training, averaging 23.42 hours per person; zero work-related fatalities reported.

Supply Chain and Ethics • Supplier base numbers 9,226 firms; ESG criteria now embedded in admission and evaluation processes. • 100 % of key auto-parts suppliers have signed anti-bribery agreements; no corruption cases were concluded during the year.

Social Contribution • Community investment totalled RMB 2.97 million; employees contributed 8,990 volunteer hours. • Targeted rural programmes included procurement of local agricultural products and elder-care facility upgrades.

Looking Ahead ZCZL intends to deepen digital-intelligent transformation, expand clean-energy deployment and refine Scope 3 data coverage while linking more ESG key performance indicators to management remuneration.
