The Asset Management Association of China (AMAC) has announced the release of new regulations and a standardized template to govern information disclosure for private investment funds.
Issued under document number AMAC Notice [2026] No. 11, the Private Investment Fund Information Disclosure Implementation Rules and the Private Investment Fund Information Disclosure Key Content Template were formulated to standardize disclosure practices, safeguard investor rights, and promote the healthy, regulated development of the private fund industry.
The new rules are based on existing laws and regulations, including the Securities Investment Fund Law of the People's Republic of China, the Private Investment Fund Supervision and Administration Regulations, and the Private Investment Fund Information Disclosure Supervision and Management Measures.
Having been reviewed and approved by the AMAC Council, the regulations and template are now officially released and will take effect from September 1, 2026.
The announcement includes three key documents: the Implementation Rules, the Key Content Template, and an explanatory note regarding the drafting of the Implementation Rules.
