Robotic Dog's Playful Antics Leave Two Real Dogs Baffled

Deep News11:30

At the 2026 Financial Street Smart Spring Carnival held on April 25, Unitree Technology showcased its Go2 robotic dog and G1 humanoid robot, engaging with attendees on-site. During the event, the Go2 robotic dog faced off against pet dogs brought by spectators. Confronted by the all-metal machine, the real dogs were visibly intimidated, retreating step by step and clinging closely to their owners. Meanwhile, the Go2, carrying a bouquet of flowers on its back, performed a series of playful movements, including spinning and jumping. A particularly amusing moment occurred when a parent and their young child shared a humorous exchange while observing the scene. Parent: "A real dog can't beat it (the robotic dog)." Child: "Why not?" Parent: "Because it's made of metal!" Child: "What if we bite it and break it?" Parent: "It's metal—it won't break even if you bite it."
