Three projects from Liaoning Province have been included in the 2025 National Metaverse Model Cases list. The selection was jointly announced by relevant departments, with a total of 193 cases chosen nationwide.
In the category of Typical Digital Human Cases, the project named "Xiaohe," a Beidou Cloud Government Affairs Intelligent Agent, was submitted by Liaoning Beidou Cloud Digital Technology Co., Ltd.
Under Typical Product Cases, the "Haosen Manufacturing Workshop Industrial Digital Twin System" was submitted by Dalian Haosen Software Co., Ltd. Another project, the "Automobile Production Line Digital Twin System," was submitted by Dalian Auto Co., Ltd.
The metaverse represents an immersive interconnected space where digital and physical worlds converge. It is considered a future industry driven by the integrated innovation and application of new-generation information technologies. As an advanced form of integration between the digital economy and the real economy, it holds the potential to guide the next generation of internet development through virtual-real interaction. This technology is expected to accelerate the high-end, intelligent, and green transformation of manufacturing and support the development of a modern industrial system.
In 2023, a three-year action plan for metaverse industry innovation and development was issued, outlining goals to achieve initial results in the industrial metaverse by 2025. The plan aims to cultivate a number of typical applications and establish benchmark production lines, factories, and industrial parks.
The promotion and implementation of these model cases are set to accelerate the penetration of metaverse technologies into sectors such as industrial manufacturing, cultural tourism, education, and healthcare. This initiative will help create replicable and scalable "metaverse+" integrated application models, injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the digital economy.
