Recently, the natural gas入户 (household access) project in Lihao Village, Lihao Town, Qingzhen City, Guiyang, has been fully implemented, making it the first village in Qingzhen City to achieve the advancement of natural gas access for the entire community. The natural gas下乡入户 (rural household access) project in Lihao Town was completed under the lead coordination of the Qingzhen City People's Congress Standing Committee, with active promotion from the local authorities and strong support from China Resources Gas Group.
In the past, villagers' daily lives primarily relied on coal and liquefied petroleum gas, which not only incurred high usage costs but also posed safety hazards such as fire risks and carbon monoxide poisoning, in addition to polluting the living environment. With the improvement of living standards, accessing clean and safe natural gas became an urgent expectation for the villagers.
Local representatives from the two-level people's congress listened to public opinion, submitted proposals, and worked to secure support. Driven by the concerted efforts of all parties, an innovative model of "village collective funding, village committee supervision, and gas company management" emerged in Lihao Town.
During the project's construction, the village's "two committees" conducted door-to-door visits to collect opinions and established a supervision team to strictly control construction quality. China Resources Gas Group selected high-quality materials and followed standardized construction practices to ensure gas supply safety.
After the gas was connected, the gas company's 24-hour service hotline became operational simultaneously. Technicians now conduct regular home inspections, popularize safe gas usage knowledge, and provide one-on-one operational guidance for elderly villagers.
Currently, the main natural gas pipeline network has been fully laid across all 19 villager groups in Lihao Village. Furthermore, similar construction work is also advancing in Shiniu Village.
