Data collected over the past 24 hours indicates that the average terminal retail price for major Chinese baijiu products experienced another overall decline on July 14th. If one bottle of each major product were bundled for sale, the total price today would be 9,839 yuan, a drop of 15 yuan from yesterday. This marks the third consecutive day of decline, reaching the lowest level since March 22nd of this year. The divergence in price movements among core products remains pronounced, with terminal market sentiment cooling compared to the previous period, and the downtrend in the overall price index has intensified further.
Today, among 11 major baijiu products, three rose, seven fell, and one was flat, with the number of losers and the magnitude of declines holding a clear advantage. On the upside, Xijiao Junpin led gains, rising 6 yuan per bottle to fully recover yesterday's losses. Premium Kweichow Moutai Co.,Ltd. rose 5 yuan per bottle, also recouping all of yesterday's losses and rebounding from the lowest level since its price hike on the i-Moutai platform on May 16th. Wuliangye 1618 saw a modest increase of 1 yuan per bottle, marking its second consecutive day of recovery from near one-month lows.
On the downside, Gujinggong Gu 20 led the declines, falling 7 yuan per bottle. It has now declined for three consecutive days, with a cumulative drop of 34 yuan per bottle from the monthly high recorded on July 6th. Guojiao 1573 fell 6 yuan per bottle, ending a previous four-day winning streak. Wuliangye Puwu Eighth Generation dropped 5 yuan per bottle, erasing all gains from the prior two days. Qinghua Fen 20 declined 4 yuan per bottle, retreating for two days from the near one-month high set the day before yesterday. Qinghualang fell 3 yuan per bottle, pulling back after yesterday's rebound and remaining below the 700 yuan threshold. Feitian Moutai and Shuijing Jiannanchun both edged down 1 yuan per bottle; the former's price retreated to the second-lowest level in nearly a month, while the latter declined for a second straight day. The price of Yanghe Mengzhilan M6+ remained unchanged from yesterday, following the product hitting its lowest price in nearly a month the previous day.
The daily data is sourced from approximately 200 collection points reasonably distributed across major regions nationwide, including but not limited to authorized distributors, independent distributors, e-commerce platforms, and retail outlets. The raw sample data consists of actual transaction terminal retail prices processed by these points over the past 24 hours, aiming to provide objective, scientific, and fully traceable data on the market prices of well-known baijiu products. With the official i-Moutai platform launching sales of Feitian Moutai at 1,499 yuan per bottle (raised to 1,539 yuan on March 31st) and Premium Moutai at 2,299 yuan per bottle (raised to 2,359 yuan on May 16th), the gravitational influence of this new channel on the average terminal retail prices of these two products has gradually become apparent. The daily baijiu prices follow a calculation rule weighted by actual transaction volume, and verifiable prices have been incorporated into the calculation of the terminal retail prices for these two products.
