From October 20 to 22, by the banks of the Huangpu River in Shanghai, the 2026 Sustainable Global Leaders Conference will return once again. Nobel Prize and Turing Award winners will take the stage to discuss the future and trends of technology, and the internet-famous professors who "rescue" people from anxiety and the era of involution—Macfarlane and Xiang Biao—will hold a live dialogue!
Limited seats available, first come first served. Let us join together for the sustainable appointment! Among them, the Three Gorges New Energy Jiangsu Rudong 800MW (H6, H10) Offshore Wind Farm Project won the National Quality Engineering Gold Award, and the Changyi City Marine Ranch and Three Gorges 300MW Offshore Wind Power Integrated Demonstration Project was awarded the National Quality Engineering Award.
The Three Gorges New Energy Jiangsu Rudong 800MW (H6, H10) Offshore Wind Farm Project is located in the Huangshayang sea area of Rudong County, Jiangsu Province, with a total installed capacity of 800 megawatts. It was fully connected to the grid in 2021, with an average annual on-grid electricity output of about 2.4 billion kilowatt-hours, enough to meet the clean electricity demand of about 1 million households for one year, and can save about 740,000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 2 million tons each year. As Asia's first offshore wind power project using flexible DC technology for power transmission, the project overcame a number of key core technologies, including the construction of offshore converter stations, offshore flexible DC transmission, operation support for offshore converter stations, all-steel composite cylindrical wind turbine foundations, and integrated installation, promoting the development and upgrading of new equipment, new processes, and new technologies, and providing important support for advancing the high-quality development of China's offshore wind power industry.
The Changyi City Marine Ranch and Three Gorges 300MW Offshore Wind Power Integrated Demonstration Project is located in the Laizhou Bay sea area north of Changyi City, Weifang City, Shandong Province, with an installed capacity of 300 megawatts and 50 6-megawatt wind turbines. It was fully connected to the grid in December 2022, with an annual on-grid electricity output of about 940 million kilowatt-hours. The project innovatively explores a development model of deep integration between offshore wind power and marine ranching, arranging aquaculture areas within 50 meters around the wind turbine foundations and adopting measures such as placing spawning reefs and fish aggregation reefs to gather and increase fish stocks, providing good habitats and spawning grounds for marine organisms such as fish, shellfish, and algae, advancing "three-dimensional development and utilization above and below water," and creating an offshore wind power model of "green energy + blue granary." The project also launched an offshore environmental observation and monitoring station to dynamically monitor the impact of project construction on water flow, water quality, the ocean's self-regulation capacity, and the reproduction of birds and marine life, evaluate the effectiveness of marine ranch improvement and restoration of the ecological environment, and provide a reliable basis for exploring the deep integration of a modern energy system with marine ecological protection and economic and social development.
