Chifeng Gold Finalizes Corporate Name Change; Trading Identifiers Unaffected

Bulletin Express05-29

Chifeng Jilong Gold Mining Group Limited (abbreviated as Chifeng Gold) has completed all regulatory procedures to formalize its corporate name change, according to an announcement dated 29 May 2026.

The company received a new business licence from the Chifeng Market Supervision and Administration Bureau on 13 May 2026, officially adopting the Chinese name “赤峰吉隆黃金礦業集團股份有限公司” and the English name “Chifeng Jilong Gold Mining Group Limited.” Subsequently, on 26 May 2026, the Registrar of Companies in Hong Kong issued a Certificate of Registration of Alteration of Name of Registered Non-Hong Kong Company, confirming the same name changes under Part 16 of the Companies Ordinance.

Key trading identifiers remain unchanged: • Stock code on the Hong Kong Main Board is unchanged. • Chinese stock short name remains “赤峰黃金.” • English stock short name remains “CHIFENG GOLD.”

Operational and shareholder impact: • The name change does not affect shareholder rights, day-to-day operations, or the company’s financial position. • Existing share certificates bearing the former name continue to be valid for trading, settlement, registration, and delivery. • New share certificates will be issued under the new corporate name for any subsequent share issuances, with no mandatory exchange of existing certificates required.

Chairman Wang Jianhua signed the announcement on behalf of the board. The executive team comprises five executive directors, one non-executive director, and four independent non-executive directors.

The corporate name revision aligns administrative records across mainland China and Hong Kong without altering market-facing symbols or shareholder entitlements.
