The grand finale of the "2026 Luobin Art Season: Urumqi, A Stage Everywhere" took place on the afternoon of September 19th at the Banshan·Fanhua Scenic Area in Shuimogou District's Shirenzigou, featuring the Silk Road Song City Luobin Music Carnival. Surrounded by mountains and spread across blooming flower fields, the melodies traveled through the valleys.
Celebrated musicians and bands, including Liu Chuzhi, Li Wei, Liu Ke, Parhat and Yogurt Band, Nan'erxiang Band, and Jiangxingzhe Band, took to the stage one after another. The audience moved to the rhythm, fully immersed in the joy of the moment.
On stage, the classic songs of Luobin—such as The Girl from Daban City, Mu Danhan, Youth Dance, A Lovely Rose, and Lift Your Veil—were performed alongside popular hits like Find Myself, Flower House Girl, Alocasia Love, By Lake Baikal, Rice Fragrance, and Hometown.
Resident Zhang Huihui strolled across the lawn with her child. "There's no need to stay confined to a seat. You can listen to the music, browse the market, and sit down to rest whenever you feel like it. It's so relaxing," she said.
Beside the stage, market stalls were arranged in a neat row. Nearly a hundred local Xinjiang artisans and inheritors of intangible cultural heritage set up their booths here. Songjin intangible heritage artist Liu Yuanyuan displayed hair clips, earrings, ear studs, and pendants. Visitors stopped to admire the fine woven textures, bending down to feel the fabric before choosing their favorite pair of earrings. "They are exquisite, beautiful, and reasonably priced. I bought a hair clip for myself and one for my child," said a tourist named Dingxiang.
Outside the market, the electronic swing dance area attracted a crowd of young people who moved, turned, and swayed to the beat. At the Polaroid photo spot, visitors queued up to capture memories against the flower-field backdrop, receiving their photos on the spot.
As the sky gradually darkened and the sun sank behind the mountain ridges, the lights came on. The audience stood among the flowers, clapping along with the melodies. The inaugural Blue Flame Band performed the song The Most Beautiful Is Our Xinjiang.
The Luobin Art Season, which kicked off in summer, featured five distinct stages: "Love to Dance," "Fireworks," "Love to Show," "Deep Affection," and "Love of Music." Performance venues were spread across Jianhu Lakeside, Lingguan Alley, Yamalike Mountain Yunman Terrace, the front of People's Cinema, and Wanda Plaza.
"Urumqi is a stage everywhere." The Luobin Art Season has moved beyond fixed venues, delivering music to every corner of the city and allowing residents and tourists to encounter performing arts in everyday spaces.
