China Longyuan Power: May 2026 Generation Rises 1.24% to 6.76 million MWh; YTD Output Down 1.29% on Softer Wind Segment

China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited reported consolidated power generation of 6.76 million MWh for May 2026, a 1.24% year-on-year increase.

Segment performance diverged sharply: • Wind power contributed 5.42 million MWh, slipping 2.18% year-on-year. • Solar power delivered 1.34 million MWh, up 17.94% year-on-year. • Other renewables were immaterial at 0.52 million MWh.

Cumulative output for the first five months of 2026 reached 33.43 million MWh, down 1.29% from the prior-year period. Wind generation fell 6.22% to 27.34 million MWh, outweighing a 29.13% surge in solar production to 6.09 million MWh.

Regional wind highlights in May 2026: • Strong growth: Qinghai (+234.35%), Fujian (+51.01%), Xinjiang (+45.71%), Liaoning (+17.21%). • Notable declines: Gansu (-34.30%), Shandong (-29.58%), Shanxi (-23.22%), Inner Mongolia (-11.62%). Internationally, Canada rose 20.63% while South Africa fell 22.09%. The Ukraine project generated no electricity due to ongoing grid substation repairs.
