Hong Kong Stocks Open Higher with Tech and Internet Shares Leading Gains

Hong Kong's three major indices opened higher today. The Hang Seng Index rose 2.61% to 25,772.56 points, while the Hang Seng Tech Index gained 2.95% and the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index increased by 1.67%.

Across the market, technology and internet stocks broadly advanced. Bilibili surged more than 5%, while NetEase, Baidu, and Tencent each rose over 3%. Gold stocks also opened higher, with China Gold International climbing more than 7%. AI application stocks were mostly up, with Zhipu soaring over 14%. Automobile stocks were active, as NIO increased more than 3%. In contrast, oil and gas stocks weakened, with Shandong Molong Petroleum Machinery Company Limited falling over 14%.
