Qilu Expressway (01576.HK) Issues Profit Warning: 2025 Revenue Down 66%, Net Profit Falls 22% Amid Jihe Expressway Transition

Bulletin Express03-16 23:02

Qilu Expressway Company Limited (01576.HK) released unaudited key financial data for the year ended 31 December 2025 and issued a profit warning.

2025 PERFORMANCE HIGHLIGHTS • Revenue slid 66.18 % year on year to RMB 2.37 billion, primarily because construction revenue related to the Jihe Expressway reconstruction and expansion project was no longer booked after project completion. • EBITDA rose 54.47 % to RMB 1.51 billion, reflecting resumed two-way traffic on the upgraded Jihe Expressway and strong toll contribution. • Net profit declined 22.55 % to RMB 386.00 million, weighed down by higher depreciation, amortisation and finance costs linked to the newly commissioned expressway. • Toll income (tax inclusive) reached about RMB 1.77 billion, up 64.32 % year on year.

BALANCE-SHEET SNAPSHOT (as at 31 December 2025) • Total non-current assets stood at RMB 18.91 billion, broadly stable (-0.55 %). • Total current assets fell 23.03 % to RMB 1.59 billion, mainly reflecting construction receivables recognised in 2024. • Total non-current liabilities increased 7.14 % to RMB 10.71 billion, consistent with higher long-term debt following project completion. • Total current liabilities decreased 30.80 % to RMB 3.36 billion. • Total equity edged up 3.25 % to RMB 6.43 billion.

MANAGEMENT GUIDANCE The Board expects full-year 2025 net profit of roughly RMB 386 million. The figures are preliminary, based on internal management accounts, and remain subject to audit. Investors are advised to review the forthcoming audited annual results before making investment decisions.
