Lens Technology (6613) Announces 2026 First EGM Poll Results and Director Appointment

Lens Technology Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 6613) held its 2026 first extraordinary general meeting on January 29, 2026, at its office in Changsha City, Hunan Province. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Board, and shareholders in attendance represented approximately 63.73% of total voting shares, excluding 12,996,328 treasury A shares that did not carry voting rights.

Two resolutions were put to vote. The first, concerning the election of an independent non-executive director, was approved by more than half of all votes cast. The second resolution, concerning the change of purpose and cancellation of repurchased shares, reduction of registered capital, and amendments to the articles of association, garnered over two-thirds approval and was thus passed as a special resolution.

Following the meeting, Mr. Tang Xiangxi was appointed as an independent non-executive director, succeeding the former chairman of the Audit Committee and the Remuneration and Appraisal Committee. The newly revised articles of association, reflecting the cancellation of certain repurchased shares and related adjustments, took effect immediately after shareholder approval. With the appointment of Mr. Tang, the company confirmed its compliance with the relevant requirements of the Hong Kong Listing Rules.
