At the 2026 Financial Street "Spring Splendor" Carnival held on April 26, a Unitree robot stationed near the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) booth interacted with passersby, drawing large crowds with its greeting gestures.
A young child waved at the robot, which then approached and engaged in a "handshake" interaction. Meanwhile, a visitor walking a Shiba Inu also caught sight of the robot. The dog appeared highly curious, frequently turning back to observe the mechanical attraction.
