CITIC Bank: Medium-Term Market Rates to Stay Biased Higher, Core Support for Bond Market Remains Solid

Deep News11-03 15:00

CITIC Bank held its third-quarter 2026 results briefing today.

Discussing the overall trajectory of the bond market in the next phase, and drawing on this year's market characteristics and the bank's own investment experience, the head of the financial markets department predicted that the medium-term bias toward stronger market rates will remain unchanged, and that the core logic underpinning the bond market is still solid.

Based on that assessment, the head of the financial markets department said that in the next stage CITIC Bank's bond investment will adhere to a core investment approach of taking allocation as the foundation while using swing trading to enhance returns, balancing portfolio liquidity, safety and long-term returns, while managing interest rate risk through dynamic position adjustments.
