At a regular press conference on December 18, China's Ministry of Commerce spokesperson He Yadong responded to the European Commission's intensified investigations against multiple Chinese enterprises under the Foreign Subsidies Regulation (FSR). He Yadong stated that China strongly opposes these actions.

The spokesperson urged the EU to immediately cease its unreasonable suppression of foreign-invested enterprises, including Chinese companies, and to exercise caution when employing FSR investigative tools. He emphasized the need for a fair, just, and predictable business environment for enterprises operating in Europe.

China is closely monitoring the EU's moves and will take necessary measures to resolutely safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese companies.
