Guangzhou Branch of Minsheng Bank Fined 1.1935 Million Yuan for Regulatory Violations

The Guangzhou Branch of Minsheng Bank has been officially penalized by the People's Bank of China Guangdong Provincial Branch for failing to comply with several regulatory standards.

According to the administrative penalty information disclosure form released on July 31, the Guangzhou Branch of China Minsheng Banking Corp., Ltd. was issued a warning and fined 1.1935 million yuan. The penalty was imposed for violations related to financial statistics, currency and precious metals management, and treasury management procedures.

The decision was made by the People's Bank of China Guangdong Provincial Branch on July 23, 2026, with the penalty period set for three years. The public announcement period for the penalty will conclude on July 30, 2029.
