Deep News06-02

Copper River's team demonstrated remarkable performance and secured the bronze medal for the group award in the recent provincial agricultural product broker skills competition, which also served as the Shaanxi selection round for the seventh national agricultural industry vocational skills contest.

Team members Cao Lei, Wang Rong, and He Jiangping distinguished themselves among all provincial competitors with their solid professional knowledge and exceptional practical skills, earning the individual first prize, third prize, and excellence award respectively, showcasing the professional caliber and dynamism of Copper River's new-generation farmers.

The competition combined theoretical examinations with practical skill assessments, focusing on evaluating capabilities in market analysis, quality identification, warehousing and logistics, and marketing coordination.

Its objective was to foster learning and development through competition, aiming to cultivate a core group of highly skilled and effective agricultural product brokers who can significantly support and connect with farmers, thereby enhancing the quality and efficiency of the province's agricultural product circulation and sales.

This event is a highly authoritative, professional, and influential provincial-level vocational skills competition within Shaanxi's agricultural sector and serves as a key channel for selecting representatives to advance to the national finals of the agricultural industry vocational skills contest.

In recent years, the city has concentrated on developing four key industrial chains: modern fruit cultivation, animal husbandry and fisheries, Chinese medicinal herbs, and vegetable and mushroom production.

By deepening the development of characteristic agriculture and regularly organizing skills training, production-marketing linkage activities, and industry exchanges, the city has nurtured successive groups of agricultural leaders, skilled growers, returning entrepreneurial youth, and local agricultural backbone talents who are proficient in technology, adept at management, and innovative.

This talent-driven approach empowers the agricultural industry to improve quality and efficiency, extends, complements, and strengthens the city's characteristic agricultural industrial chains, and promotes the brand recognition of Copper River's distinctive agricultural products.
