Haier Smart Home Executes Further A-Share Buyback in August; Total Issued Capital Steady at RMB 9.38 Billion

Haier Smart Home Co., Ltd. released its monthly return for the period ended 31 August 2026, detailing limited share-capital movements and continued adherence to Hong Kong’s public-float rules.

Stable authorised capital • The company’s issued share capital remained unchanged at 9.38 billion shares with a par value of RMB 1 each, split among A-shares (6.25 billion), H-shares (2.85 billion) and Frankfurt-listed D-shares (0.27 billion).

Ongoing A-share repurchases • During August, Haier Smart Home repurchased 2.74 million A-shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange at an average price of RMB 21.10 per share. • These shares were transferred to treasury, lifting total A-share treasury stock to 127.43 million and reducing outstanding A-shares to 6.13 billion. • Separately, 74.54 million A-shares and 0.87 million D-shares previously bought for cancellation remain uncancelled at month-end. Earlier buyback programmes have accumulated 26.97 million A-shares (Apr 2022–Mar 2024) and 47.58 million A-shares (Apr 2025–Jan 2026) slated for cancellation, while 94.44 million A-shares acquired since Mar 2026 are earmarked for share-incentive plans—41.56 million of which were transferred to the 2026 scheme in July.

No new issuance or convertible activity • The company reported no new share issues, options, warrants, or convertible securities during the month.

Public float intact • Haier Smart Home confirmed compliance with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s 5 % minimum public-float requirement for its H-share class.

Administration • The filing was submitted on 1 September 2026 by Company Secretary Ng Chi Yin, affirming compliance with all listing and regulatory obligations.
