On Thursday, the three major US stock indices all closed higher. The Hang Seng Index ADRs also advanced, with a proportional gain of 398.15 points, or 1.54%, closing at 26,174.68 points compared to the previous Hong Kong market close. Most major blue-chip stocks declined. HSBC HOLDINGS closed at HKD 143.916, up 0.73% from its Hong Kong closing price. TENCENT closed at HKD 477.998, rising 2.18% from its Hong Kong session close.
