On April 18, a specialized job fair for university graduates titled "Gathering Talent in Songbei, Empowering Youth Employment" was held at the Songbei Rongchuang Mao shopping center. The event attracted 130 companies, which collectively offered more than 4,000 high-quality job openings across various fields including technology research and development, administrative work, marketing, and operations management. Approximately 13,000 job seekers attended the fair, submitting over 6,000 resumes, with 1,480 individuals reaching preliminary employment agreements. To enhance matching efficiency, the venue was organized into five functional zones: direct recruitment, university-enterprise collaboration, policy consultation, career guidance, and an AI interview experience area. The newly introduced AI interview zone became a highlight, featuring smart interview equipment provided by the Harbin New District Civil Affairs Bureau. With dedicated staff offering guidance, the zone helped candidates improve their interview skills and received positive feedback from attendees, marking a successful application of digital tools to optimize public employment services. In contrast to the standardized feedback from AI systems, experienced career advisors from the Harbin New District Career Guidance Studio were also present at both the AI interview and career guidance zones, adding a human touch to the intelligent services and enhancing their warmth. Moving forward, Harbin New District plans to build on the success of the job fair by innovating diverse employment service models to effectively address corporate hiring needs and public employment expectations.
