SCHOLAR EDU (01769) Establishes Joint Venture with Shenzhen Huaxia Junyong to Develop AI Educational Robots

On November 4, 2025, SCHOLAR EDU (01769) announced the signing of a joint venture agreement with Shenzhen Huaxia Junyong to establish a new company focused on the research and development of AI-powered educational robots. The joint venture will have a registered capital of RMB 385 million.

Under the agreement, SCHOLAR EDU will contribute RMB 115.5 million (30% stake), while Shenzhen Huaxia Junyong will invest RMB 269.5 million (70% stake). The joint venture will be accounted for as an associate of SCHOLAR EDU, with its financial performance incorporated into the group's consolidated statements using the equity method.

The company believes this initiative complements its existing business and will create synergies for overall growth. The joint venture will accelerate SCHOLAR EDU's entry into the AI educational robotics sector while leveraging partners' networks and resources to access advanced technologies.

AI educational robots developed through this collaboration will feature capabilities such as high-resolution scanning cameras for handwriting and complex formula recognition. These robots will provide step-by-step solutions, learning analytics, real-time interactive feedback for students, and behavioral analysis tools to assist teachers in personalized instruction.
