Biocytogen: Interim Net Profit Soars 4.02 Times to RMB241.09 Million on 51.6% Revenue Surge

Biocytogen Pharmaceuticals (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (Biocytogen) reported interim revenue of RMB941.39 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026, up 51.6% year-on-year. Gross profit climbed 61.6% to RMB746.49 million, lifting gross margin to 79.3%.

Net profit attributable to shareholders hit RMB241.09 million, a 4.02-fold increase from the same period last year, supported by a 28.6% rise in operating cash inflow to RMB261.56 million.

• Pre-clinical products and services remained the largest contributor, generating RMB723.53 million—57.9% higher than a year ago—with animal-model sales contributing RMB445.78 million and a margin of about 82.3%. • Antibody discovery revenue grew 33.8% to RMB217.86 million, with a margin of roughly 92.8%. • Overseas business delivered RMB561.50 million, accounting for nearly 60% of total revenue.

Research and development expenses rose 27.8% to RMB267.34 million, representing about 28% of revenue. General and administrative expenses were RMB133.04 million, trimming the expense-to-revenue ratio by 4.6 percentage points to 14.1%.

The company ended the period with cash and cash equivalents of RMB789.53 million and a gearing ratio of 0.50. Capital expenditure reached RMB405.50 million, mainly for capacity expansion in Jiangsu Haimen and new facilities in Beijing Daxing and Boston.

Biocytogen expects continued growth from its RenMice-based Project Integrum antibody library, expanded AI-driven RenSuper Workstation platform, and additional overseas capacity. The Board did not declare an interim dividend.
