GEG Commits MOP2.27 Billion to Macau Government Guidance Fund No. 2

Bulletin Express10-23

Galaxy Entertainment Group Limited (GEG) disclosed that on 23 October 2026 its subsidiary, Galaxy Casino, S.A. (GCSA), signed a Limited Partnership Agreement to join the Macau SAR Government Guidance Fund No. 2, Limited Partnership Fund, as a limited partner.

GCSA will contribute approximately MOP2.27 billion to the Fund. These staged capital injections will be credited toward the company’s non-gaming investment obligations stipulated in its current Macau gaming concession.

The Fund, established and guided by the Macau SAR Government, is mandated to channel capital into enterprises and strategic sectors that foster economic diversification in Macau, support development in the Guangdong-Macau In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, and advance integration within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.

Macau Project Management (No. 2) Limited acts as general partner, while Macau Investment and Management Company Limited oversees daily operations and investment execution. Decisions will be vetted by dedicated investment committees and supervised by a steering committee, with periodic performance reporting to all limited partners on equal terms.

GEG states that the initiative aligns with its broader development strategy and reinforces its commitment to the Macau SAR Government’s long-term economic diversification agenda.
