Qilu Expressway Calls 21 May 2026 EGM to Confirm Appointment of Executive Director Li Tianzhang

Qilu Expressway Company Limited has scheduled an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) for 10:00 a.m. on 21 May 2026 at its Jinan headquarters to seek shareholder approval for the appointment of Mr. Li Tianzhang as an executive director.

Mr. Li, aged 49, brings more than two decades of experience in investment, industrial operations and corporate management. His previous roles include senior posts at Shandong Hi-Speed Group and chairmanships at both Shandong Hi-Speed Holdings Group Limited (HKEX: 00412) and Shandong Hi-Speed New Energy Group Limited (HKEX: 01250). He has served as Secretary of the CPC Committee of Qilu Expressway since April 2026.

Upon approval, Mr. Li will serve the remainder of the current board term. Under the company’s remuneration framework, his package comprises a basic annual salary of RMB0.26 million and a performance-based annual salary of RMB0.74 million, with additional tenure incentives subject to future board assessment. He will not receive separate director’s fees.

The register of members will be closed from 18 May to 21 May 2026. Shareholders must lodge share transfer documents by 4:30 p.m. on 15 May 2026 to qualify for voting. All resolutions at the EGM will be decided by poll, and results will be posted on the HKEXnews and company websites the same day.

The board recommends shareholders vote in favour of Mr. Li’s appointment, citing his extensive industry and management expertise.
