Stock News03-27

GIC GROUP (01669) announced its annual results for the period ending December 31, 2025. The group recorded revenue of HK$77.189 million, representing a decrease of 14.12% compared to the previous year. The total comprehensive income attributable to the company's owners for the year amounted to HK$52.233 million, an increase of 14.15% year-on-year. Earnings per share were HK13.1 cents. The board proposed a final dividend of HK2.4 cents per share and a special final dividend of HK3.6 cents per share.

During the 2025 fiscal year, interest income generated from the group's lending business was HK$77.20 million. This figure reflects a decrease of HK$12.70 million, or 14.1%, compared to the interest income of HK$89.90 million recorded in the 2024 fiscal year. The decline in interest income was primarily due to a reduction in the average month-end balance of gross loans receivable. The balance decreased by HK$163 million, or 20.1%, from HK$811 million in the 2024 fiscal year to HK$648 million in the 2025 fiscal year. This decrease was partially offset by an increase in the lending interest rate.
