According to Woofun AI data, Bitcoin has asserted its dominance by accounting for 77% of the $1.3 billion growth in cryptocurrency funds during the recent market rally spearheaded by BlackRock (BLK.US).
Data compiled by Woofun AI shows that over these three trading sessions, Bitcoin-related ETFs recorded an average daily assets under management (AUM) of $334.7 million, approximately 4.1 times the $81 million historical daily average reported by Farside. Ethereum's average daily AUM stood at roughly $96.4 million, about 4.3 times its displayed average of $22.6 million. Solana's average daily AUM was approximately $1.4 million, representing just 24% of its displayed average of $5.6 million. These figures indicate that while Bitcoin attracted the lion's share of capital, Ethereum also participated in the price rebound, whereas Solana's recent performance remains well below its own average levels.
Bitcoin inflows were concentrated across three primary products: BlackRock's IBIT (IBIT.US) brought $588.5 million into the market between August 17 and 19, Fidelity's FBTC (FBTC.US) added $198.2 million, and ARK 21Shares' ARKB (ARKB.US) contributed $111.6 million over the three-session period, including a single-day inflow of $77.7 million on August 19.
On the Ethereum side, BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) (ETHA.US) generated $212.7 million in inflows for Ethereum-related products during these three trading sessions. In the Solana segment, Bitwise's Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) brought in $7.2 million between August 18 and 19, while Grayscale's Solana Trust ETF saw $3.1 million in outflows on August 19, largely offsetting each other.
It is worth noting that this comparison carries an important limitation: the tables track different numbers of products, do not provide total AUM figures for each product category, and may not cover all U.S. cryptocurrency ETP offerings. For instance, Morgan Stanley (MS.US) launched its Ethereum Trust and Solana Trust as early as July 28, yet these two products are currently absent from Farside's relevant flow tables. Consequently, comparisons against historical averages only offer a rough indication of each product category's growth trajectory and should not be interpreted as a precise, AUM-adjusted measure of demand.
Over these three trading sessions, both Bitcoin and Ethereum have clearly outpaced their historical daily averages, while Solana's growth rate continues to lag behind its own baseline.
