Former US President Donald Trump stated that under the leadership of Jerome Powell, the Federal Reserve has been "damaged and lost credibility."
Trump pointed out that mortgage rates have hit three-year lows, despite Powell's "all-out" efforts to keep interest rates high.
"This just shows he was wrong all along, because the market is breaking his stubbornness," Trump wrote on the social media platform Truth Social.
