According to media reports, Morgan Stanley announced on April 1 that former German Finance Minister Joerg Kukies will join the firm. Kukies, one of the most prominent figures in German finance, is scheduled to begin his role in May. He will initially work in London for several months before relocating to Frankfurt. At Morgan Stanley, Kukies will serve as the head of Germany and Austria, while also holding the position of head of Continental European operations. The bank stated that Kukies will join its London office.
